Yeah for a Tuesday that feels like a Monday but is still only 4 days from the weekend!
Today’s list is just bunch of small things. Nearly all of these will be done in under 5 minutes:
- cancel OBGYN appointment (don’t ask)
- complete online juror survey
- call about insulin pump replacement (well, I left a message for a cust. svc. rep to call me back)
- make LIGHT membership calls
- tidy craft room
- make list of books to get at library
- update Goodreads
- make cleaning spray to bring to work
Ok, the doctor thing: this is a follow up appointment to my annual. I was directed to get blood work and a mammogram done and this appointment was made to go over those results. I have not gone to get the bloodwork done. I have a whole host of excuses but I suppose the bottom line is that I don’t want to deal with what the results might be. I’m mainly fearing the results of my A1C and cholesterol. I keep thinking I’ll work on the issues that affect those numbers and *then* go get the bloodwork done. Yeah, well. I am toying with going back off wheat and dairy after my birthday. I’m curious as to what my test results will be after a month of treating myself well.

Home Alone
I’m home alone tonight! The kids are all spending the night at their friends. I’m making potato, zucchini and carrot pancakes. It’s a new recipe so wish me luck!
I’ll probably work on this site some more as well. I am gaining confidence with the code involved, but still having issue finding just the images and backgrounds I want. I may end up having to teach myself photoshop anyway to make my own. lolz
I did manage to add tweet suite and a follow me on twitter button. However, now I’m rethinking that as my twitter is not always kid/work safe. Hrmmm.

Crafting!
I bought a bunch of cheap wooden frames from Ikea to make jewelry holds, memory boards, etc.
Emma and Charlotte joined in the fun!
Charlotte used white and blue paint and some cup hooks. She framed a pic of herself and her cousins at Cape May from a couple of summers ago.

Emma used paint, stickers, some fabric she had, ribbon and the cup hooks to maker her memory board and necklace holder.

I painted my frame and used some leftover mesh we had from fixing some window screens last year. Oh, and those handy cup hooks!

I also made a memory board. I used fabric from an old shirt and ribbons and buttons from my scrapbook stuff.

That’s my husband, on the bottom right, by the way. Wasn’t he adorable?
We had SO much fun doing these!!
